The Medicine Show was established in 2017 as a social enterprise with a mission of giving new voice to the most important people and ideas shaping the future of our communities.
Our Theory of Change is that when changemakers have access to the critical tools of storytelling then they will be able to build movements around their innovative solutions.

Ajamu is an Immersive Experience Designer, Curator, and Executive Producer working at the intersection of culture, storytelling and social impact.
The former Director of Event Marketing at Red Bull was co-founder of experiential agency, New Creatures and has created and overseen global campaigns for iconic brands like GE, Frito-Lay, Unilever, Chobani, and Red Bull.

She / Her
Michelle Antoinette Nelson, aka LOVE the poet, is an artist, activist, and founder of Brown & Healthy, a global health and wellness initiative for people of color.
Michelle is also an accomplished writer, moderator, and curator and has been the host of The Medicine Show Live event series since its inception.
