OUR VOICE 2020
On December 4, 2020, artists, activists, and community members gathered virtually for the debut of The Medicine Show presents OUR VOICE, a live digital storytelling series where artists and performers use their talents to tell the stories of people creating positive change in their communities.
Among live performances and conversations, the evening prominently featured the world premier of “Paint it Black, Baltimore”, a new visual art collaboration by Kondwani Fidel and Kirby Griffin centered on the work of two local Baltimore community organizations - B-360 and Baltimore Ceasefire.
The first time virtual event was capped off with a lively conversation with Bittany Young of B-360 and Baltimore Ceasefire’s Erricka Bridgeford, exploring the way storytelling plays a critical part in advancing their missions.
